1   Link   UK Commission for Employment and Skills
The UK Commission aims to raise UK prosperity and opportunity by improving employment and skills.

Its ambition is to benefit employers, individuals and government by advising how improved employment and skills systems can help the UK become a world-class leader in productivity, in employment and in having a fair and inclusive society: all this in the context of a fast-changing global economy.
2   Link   Talent and Enterprise Taskforce
The objective of the Talent and Enterprise Taskforce is to promote the economic and social imperative of developing talent and skill in the UK through engaging influential networks, organisations and individuals across society to mobilise behind this theme.
3   Link   Department for Innovation, Universities and Skills (DIUS)
This new Department brings together functions from two former departments. Science and innovation responsibilities from the Department of Trade and Industry. Skills, further and higher education from the Department for Education and Skills.

To build a dynamic, knowledge based economy the new Department will draw together the nation's strengths in colleges, research, science and universities.

The devolved administration for Northern Ireland is responsible for most of the issues of day-to-day concern to the people of Northern Ireland.
5   Link   Welsh Assembly Government
The Welsh Assembly Government is responsible for most of the issues of day-to-day concern to the people of Wales, including the economy, health, education, and local government.
6   Link   Scottish Government
The devolved Government for Scotland is responsible for most of the issues of day-to-day concern to the people of Scotland, including health, education, justice, rural affairs and transport.
